Takeuchi short-tail swing mini excavator specs now Online
PS Plant Specs Australia has uploaded the specs for the Takeuchi TB350R short-tail swing compact excavator, which is the manufacturer’s first five-ton, short-tail swing model.
The TB350R is designed with a minimal rear swing overhang of just 7.5 cm, allowing operators to focus on their tasks without the worry of rear-swing impacts in tight spaces.
“Takeuchi continues to design and build excavators that are feature-rich, delivering a unique combination of performance, durability, operator comfort, and serviceability,” said Clay Eubanks, director of global sales for Takeuchi.
“The new TB350R offers many improvements that demonstrate our commitment to providing customers with advanced technology that enhances comfort and productivity.”
The TB350R weighs 4,970 kg in its canopy configuration and 5,085 kg with the cab.
It is powered by a diesel engine that complies with EU Stage V and US EPA Tier 4 Final emissions standards, delivering 32.4 kW and over 180.1 Nm of torque.
Equipped with a four-pump hydraulic system, the excavator claims smooth, precise control of its work equipment.
The TB350R boasts a bucket breakout force of 37.3 kN , a traction force of 54.8 kN , and a maximum digging depth of 3,575 mm.
Both the canopy and cab models come with a primary auxiliary circuit plumbed to mid-arm, and a dedicated coupler circuit controlled from within the cab.
The primary auxiliary circuit delivers 93.2 lpm at 20.6 MPa , making the TB350R compatible with a wide range of hydraulically-driven attachments.
The canopy model is equipped with a 4.3-inch high-definition multifunction color monitor, while the cab version includes a larger, 7-inch touchscreen monitor with integrated air conditioning and radio functions.
For comfort, the excavator features a deluxe, six-way adjustable suspension seat, low-effort pilot controls, and a spacious flat floor with integrated footrests.
The cab model also comes with an intuitive jog dial for easy navigation of machine settings and functions.
One-touch switches allow operators to quickly activate features like work lights, wipers, ECO mode, and the lift overload alarm.
“When maintenance and service work are fast and easy to perform on a machine, they’re more likely to be done correctly and at the right intervals,” Eubanks said.
The TB350R has a wide-opening rear-engine service door and a right-side cover that opens overhead, providing quick access to key inspection points for daily maintenance.
