Subscribers: specs for new Wacker Neuson BPS series pedestrian-op compactor posted

PS Plant Specs Australia has uploaded the specs for the Wacker Neuson BPS1550AW, part of its BPS series of pedestrian-operated compactors, which the company describes as designed for good handling and ease of use in asphalt applications.

The BPS1550AW allows operators to achieve clean, mark-free finishes, even on fresh asphalt and tight areas like curbs – thanks to the angular side edges of its base plate.

A feature of the BPS1550AW is its precise control with low hand-arm vibrations of less than 5 m/s², allowing operators to work comfortably for extended periods.

The machine’s responsive guide handle ensures precise steering and turning, providing a good user experience even for demanding tasks.

“The combination of excellent control, low HAV, and high maneuverability makes the BPS1550AW a top choice for professionals who need both precision and comfort,” said a Wacker Neuson representative.

The BPS1550AW offers a selection of powerful engine options, available with either Honda or Briggs & Stratton petrol, catering to diverse operational needs.

This flexibility ensures consistent performance across various job sites.

The machine comes equipped with a large water tank and an efficient sprinkler system, designed to cover the entire width of the base plate without wasting water.

The permanently-mounted tank has a hinged lid with a slot, allowing easy refills without fully opening the lid.

The water volume can be easily regulated via a large knob, making it user-friendly and reducing the frequency of refills.
