Specs for Fecon’s FBS1500 Tree Shear have been added to PS Plant Specs Online.

The manufacturer says the attachment has been designed to operate with skidsteers, excavators and other hydraulic machines. 

It has been engineered for precision cutting, lifting, and carrying multiple trees. The FBS1500 is ideal for a variety of applications, from tree thinning and fuel reduction to roadside clean-up.

The FBS1500 features quality AR400 shear knives, capable of cutting trees up to 381mm in diameter. 

Its dual knife action ensures a more positive cut, keeping the tree centered during shearing. 

The attachment’s strong yet lightweight frame and heavy-duty cylinders provide powerful shearing action and faster cycle times, making it easy to handle large tasks with minimal repositioning.

Fecon’s tree shears can reach normally inaccessible areas, such as steep slopes and other difficult terrain. 

The rotating shear option, available for excavators, allows for 360° rotation, giving operators more flexibility and reducing the need to frequently reposition the machine. 

Its lighter weight and adjustable steel knives allow operators to shear more trees with lower ground pressure, improving productivity and reducing strain on equipment.

All Fecon tree shears, including the FBS1500, are built with durability in mind. 

Each unit is equipped with an “H” style mounting bracket and a bolt-on hanger bracket, making it easy to install and use with a wide range of machines.
