Rammer’s new RCC80R concrete crusher is a robust 8,800kg cutter-crusher designed for standard and high-reach demolition.

Full specs are now available to PS Plant Specs Online subscribers.

Compatible with carriers in the 70 to 90-tonne range, the manufacturer says the RCC80R is engineered to deliver efficiency, durability, and low environmental impact, making it ideal for projects in sensitive areas where vibration, noise and dust control are critical.

The RCC80R is equipped with a heavy-duty, 360° rotation system, powered by two high-performance cylinders that offer precise tool placement and good cutting power.

This capability makes the RCC80R an effective and efficient alternative to traditional demolition methods, ensuring that operators can handle large tasks with confidence and ease.

To extend the equipment’s operational life, the RCC80R is equipped with a shock valve that limits force on the structure, preventing pressure spikes that can lead to wear and damage.

This protective feature not only prolongs the lifespan of the demolition tool but also reduces wear on the excavator, cutting down on overall ownership and maintenance costs.

The rotation motor, mounted on a planetary gear system, produces high rotational and holding forces, enabling precise and stable tool positioning.

The double-bearing system allows for increased load-bearing capacity while minimising wear, even in compact applications, enhancing both performance and durability.

Rammer’s RCC80R maximises efficiency with its double main bearings on the crushing arms, optimising cylinder positioning to increase crushing force and opening width.

This design boosts performance, and the double surface area of the bearings extends the life of the machine, reducing maintenance needs and costs.

The RCC80R features field-replaceable and adjustable symmetrical cutter blades that reduce downtime and extend the working life of wear parts, ensuring the equipment remains in top condition for longer periods.

With upside-down cylinders featuring complete protection and hydraulic connections fed through the piston rod, the RCC80R minimises parts and maximises uptime.

This design reduces the risk of damage and simplifies maintenance, keeping downtime to a minimum and ensuring the equipment is ready for challenging demolition tasks.
