Designed for demanding Australian conditions, this 38.5-tonne machine combines rugged durability with advanced engineering, making it an ideal choice for earthmoving, mining, and large-scale construction projects.
Powering the 936F is the Cummins QSL turbocharged diesel engine, delivering a robust 214 kW (287 hp) at 2100 rpm.
With an 8.9-litre displacement and a six-cylinder configuration, this powerplant ensures reliable performance even under heavy load.
The excavator’s variable displacement (VD) hydraulic pumps work in harmony with the engine, delivering a main pump flow of 702 litres per minute at 343 bar relief pressure, translating into smooth, responsive operation.
It boasts a maximum dig depth of 7,340 mm, extending to 10,900 mm reach at ground level.
For vertical wall applications, it can achieve a 6,460 mm depth, while its 7,160 mm dump height ensures efficient loading into trucks or stockpiles.
The machine’s breakout forces are impressive at 29,572 kgf at the bucket and 19,986 kgf at the arm, allowing it to power through tough materials.
With a track length of 4,140 mm and 600 mm-wide pads, the 936F maintains excellent ground pressure distribution, ensuring stability on uneven terrain.
Its 545 mm ground clearance helps navigate rough worksites, while a tail-swing radius of 3,593 mm keeps manoeuvrability in check.
Despite its size, the excavator can travel at 5.5 km/h and handle gradients up to 70%, making it adaptable to varied job site conditions.
The inclusion of a spare spool for attachments adds versatility, allowing for quick adaptation to different tasks—whether it’s using a grapple, hammer, or tilt bucket.
