Bomag has introduced the BW211PD-5SL, a padfoot roller which the manufacturer says is designed to deliver superior efficiency and performance across a wide range of applications.
Equipped with Bomag’s ‘Economizer’ and ‘Terrameter’ systems, operators can measure compaction in real-time, ensuring uniform results across the entire job site.
This technology eliminates unnecessary passes, saving time and fuel while achieving optimal compaction results, the manufacturer says.
The BW211PD-5SL also has Bomag’s ‘Variocontrol’ technology, which automatically adjusts the amplitude for different soil conditions.
Turning to maintenance, the BW211PD-5SL is designed for easy service. The machine features a maintenance-free articulated joint and all components are arranged for easy access.
This reduces downtime and ensures that routine maintenance tasks are quick and straightforward.
The cab is spacious and ergonomically designed, offering a clear view of the machine and its surroundings.
The machine is equipped with Bomag’s ‘Ecomode’ engine technology, which is claimed to deliver up to 30% in fuel savings.
Additionally, the optional ‘Ecostop’ function, which automatically shuts down the engine when not in use, further reduces fuel consumption.
For challenging terrains, the BW211PD-5SL is designed to excel on steep slopes of 60% or more, thanks to its double pump technology.
This ensures the best possible traction in both forward and backward travel, providing consistent performance in tough conditions.
