John Deere has introduced its P-series wheel loaders. The full specs for the 724 P, 744 P and 824 P are now available to subscribers of PS Plant Specs Australia Online
The revamped wheel loaders are designed to enhance productivity and performance over previous models, says the manufacturer.
These machines feature bucket and linkage designs that improve load levelling, material retention, and visibility.
The buckets are equipped with integrated spill guards, curved side cutters, and improved rollback, delivering superior bucket-fill performance as well as material retention.
John Deere has made daily maintenance easier with all service points, including fuel refill, grouped at ground level on the left side of the machine.
Additionally, the routing of electrical wire harnesses and hydraulic hoses has been streamlined, further improving the machine’s efficiency.
The P-series loaders come with a suite of construction technology that includes grade management, obstacle detection, product automation features, and jobsite intelligence.
The manufacturer says these features suite deliver productivity solutions to help operators work more efficiently.
John Deere construction equipment now comes with in-base connectivity, free from subscriptions or annual renewals.
This can be used to analyse critical machine data, track utilisation and review diagnostic alerts.
The Operations Center enables John Deere Connected Support, which uses data from thousands of connected machines to address issues before they arise.
Dealers can remotely monitor machine health, diagnose problems, and even update machine software without needing to visit the jobsite.
The SmartWeigh option features dynamic weighing technology that allows operators to weigh loads without interrupting workflow, eliminating the need to lower and raise the boom after tip-off.
This system, shared through the onboard monitor, is easy to calibrate and integrates seamlessly with JDLink, enabling users to track and visualise payload data from almost anywhere.
SmartWeigh is available as a factory-installed or field-kit option and can be tried at a low cost for 250 machine hours.
The auto level feature ensures good parallelism throughout the boom-raise-and-lower cycle, allowing operators to set their desired attachment angle within two degrees.
