According to the manufacturer, whether you’re laying asphalt on an urban highway or a remote rural road, the CP75II will deliver the best results.

The CP75II, set to roll out in 2025, is a forward-thinking addition to the Astec Carlson lineup.

With a base screed width of 2380mm and the ability to extend up to a maximum paving width of 4590mm, this paver is versatile enough to handle a wide range of projects.

Its adaptability is enhanced by the availability of both bolt-on and hydraulically extending screed types, allowing operators to tailor the machine to specific job requirements.

One of the features of the CP75II is its automatic grade and slope control system.

This technology ensures that the asphalt is laid with accuracy, reducing the need for manual adjustments and minimising the risk of errors.

Additionally, the automatic joint matching feature ensures seamless transitions between paving passes, resulting in a smoother, more uniform surface.

Under the hood, the CP75II is powered by a Deutz 2.9 L4 engine, delivering 55 kW at 2200 rpm.

This engine is powerful and efficient, capable of running on biodiesel, making it a more environmentally friendly option for contractors looking to reduce their carbon footprint.

The hydrostatic transmission drive system provides smooth and reliable operation, while the maximum paving speed of 47 metres per minute ensures that projects are completed on time, without compromising on quality.

The CP75II is equipped with a robust auger and conveyor system, designed to handle high volumes of material.

The auger, with a diameter of 241 mm and a length of 3785 mm, ensures even distribution of asphalt across the paving width.

The hopper, with a capacity of 3.0 cubic metres (or 8 tonnes), allows for continuous operation, reducing downtime and increasing productivity.

Despite its impressive capabilities, the CP75II is designed with practicality in mind. With dimensions of 2450mm in width, 1892mm in height, and a weight of 7711kg (including the screed), this paver is compact enough to navigate tight job sites while still delivering the performance of a much larger machine.
