Today, we Spec Check CAT’s 302.7 CR mini digger. And from this year, a cab version is on offer and we have just posted the full specifications.
According to its maker, the machine is designed to deliver performance in tight spaces, combining power, versatility, and efficiency, which makes it ideal for small to medium-sized construction projects, landscaping, and utility work.
The 302.7 CR has an operating weight of 3,250kg, making it a lightweight yet robust machine capable of handling a variety of tasks.
Its standard bucket capacity of 0.065m³ and bucket width of 460 mm ensure efficient material handling, while the dig depth of 2,650 mm and reach at ground level of 4,690 mm provide impressive versatility for digging and trenching applications.
One of the features of the 302.7 CR is its offsettable boom, which allows operators to work around obstacles.
Additionally, the machine comes equipped with a standard dozer blade, enhancing its stability and utility on the job site.
Powering the 302.7 CR is the Cat C1.1 T engine, a reliable and fuel-efficient power source that meets B20 biodiesel compatibility standards.
The engine delivers 17.6 kW (23.6 hp) at 2,400 rpm, ensuring smooth operation even in demanding conditions.
With a 1.1-litre engine size and three cylinders, this mini excavator strikes a balance between power and compactness.
The hydraulic system features Variable Displacement Axial Piston pumps, which optimise performance and fuel efficiency.
The main pump relief valve pressure is set at 245 bar, with a flow rate of 100 litres per minute, providing ample power for attachments and precise control.
Its tail-swing radius of 775mm allows it to operate in confined spaces without compromising performance.
The machine’s transport length of 4,390mm, height 2,530mm, and widths range from 1,355 to 1,780mm making it easy to deploy on varied job sites.
The mini excavator also features a ground clearance of210 mm and a track length on the ground of 2,220mm, ensuring stability and traction on uneven terrain.
With a trackpad width of 300mm, the 302.7 CR can navigate soft or rough surfaces with ease.
