With an operating weight of 1630kg, it strikes a balance between power and manoeuvrability.

Whether compacting asphalt on a busy highway or working on a tight urban site, this machine adapts.

Its articulated design ensures the flexibility to navigate challenging terrains. The double axle drive enhances its stability, ensuring consistent performance even on uneven surfaces.

The static weight distribution between the drum and tyres (805kg on the drum and 825kg on the tyres) ensures optimal compaction across a variety of surfaces.

The 1000mm drum width, combined with a static linear load of 7.9 kg/cm, guarantees uniform compaction, leaving behind a smooth, durable finish.

The RD18-100C’s four tyres, sized at 190/60-15, provide excellent traction and stability, even in wet or slippery conditions.

With a nominal amplitude of 0.45mm (both high and low) and a vibration frequency ranging from 52 Hz to 65 Hz, it delivers the perfect balance of impact and frequency for efficient compaction.

The centrifugal force, ranging from 16 kN to 25 kN, ensures deep compaction, making it ideal for both surface and sub-surface layers.

Powering this beast is the reliable Kubota D1005 engine, a compact yet robust powerplant that delivers 14.8 kW at 2200 rpm.

With a 1.0-litre engine capacity and three cylinders, it strikes a balance between fuel efficiency and performance.

The engine is also biodiesel-compatible, making it an environmentally-friendly choice for contractors looking to reduce their carbon footprint.

The 70-litre water sprinkler tank ensures consistent moisture levels during compaction, reducing the risk of material sticking to the drum.

The hydrostatic transmission provides smooth control while the service braking system ensures safety and reliability, even on steep gradients.

With a gradeability of 30% without vibration and 40% with vibration, this machine is built to tackle even the most challenging slopes.

Measuring just 2260mm in length, 1040mm in width, and 2210mm in height, it’s perfectly suited for confined workspaces.

Despite its small footprint, it doesn’t compromise on performance. The turning circle diameter of 3130mm ensures exceptional manoeuvrability, allowing operators to work efficiently in tight corners and around obstacles.
