Intermercato has introduced the GRX series of grapples, designed for excavators in the 3-13 tonne weight range.
Built for adaptability, the GRX series features a universal hole pattern compatible with various tilt rotators, RMR compact rotators, and Intermercato WDR worm drives, making it a versatile choice for operators seeking strength and efficiency.
The manufacturer says its new grapples are crafted from top-grade materials, using steel from SSAB to ensure maximum durability.
The main body is constructed from Strenx 700 high-strength structural steel, while the claws are made of Hardox 450, a wear-resistant steel known for enduring the rigors of heavy-duty applications.
This combination not only enhances the grapple’s strength but also ensures an optimal weight for easier handling and stability.
One-piece construction for the body, free from unnecessary welding, further boosts the grapple’s durability and longevity, helping to reduce potential points of weakness.
The series will continue to grow, with additional sizes planned to meet a wider range of excavator needs.
Following the success of its attachments for mini and midi excavators, Intermercato is preparing to launch the GRX 30 and GRX 40 models, designed for excavators up to 20 tonnes. The company also has plans to release an HD-series for machines up to 30 tonnes, catering to operators with larger equipment and heavy-duty requirements.
The latest addition to the series, the GRX 10 Log Grab, brings the power and durability of the GRX series to smaller machines.
Designed for mini excavators up to three tonnes, the GRX 10 is available in various configurations, including log grabs, 4-finger and 5-finger grabs, and the EG sorting grab, offering operators more choices to suit specific tasks.
