John Deere has introduced the E300LC-II excavator and PS Plant Specs online has posted the specs.

The manufacturer says the E300LC-II is designed for the most demanding construction and excavation tasks and blends raw power with precision control. 

Whether you’re digging deep trenches, lifting heavy loads, or navigating challenging terrains, the E300LC-II is built to deliver.

The E300LC-II, set for production this year, is a 30-tonne class excavator that combines cutting-edge technology with robust construction. 

With an operating weight of 30,300 kg, and bucket capacity, designed to SAE specifications, ensures maximum efficiency with every scoop, while the 1,600mm bucket width provides a balance between load capacity and manoeuvrability.

With a dig depth of 7,300mm and a reach at ground level of 10,630mm, this excavator can tackle the most challenging projects. 

The E300LC-II can achieve a dig depth of 7,110mm to a cut 2,440mm level bottom, ensuring accuracy in every operation. 

For vertical wall excavations, it boasts a maximum depth of 6,320mm, making it ideal for construction sites where precision is paramount.

Powering the E300LC-II is the John Deere PowerTech Plus 6068 engine, a powerhouse that delivers 160 kW at 2,000 rpm. 

This 6.8-litre, 6-cylinder engine is not only fuel-efficient but also designed to meet stringent emissions standards, making it an environmentally-conscious choice. 

The hydraulic system is impressive, featuring twin variable displacement axial piston pumps (T2xVDAP) that deliver a flow rate of 2×260 litres per minute. 

With a main pump relief valve pressure of 364bar, the hydraulic system provides the muscle needed for heavy lifting and digging, while maintaining precise control for delicate tasks.

With a transport length of 10,530mm, a transport height of 3,370mm, and a width of 3,200mm, this excavator can easily be moved between sites. 

Its tail-swing radius of 3,100mm and ground clearance of 480mm ensure that it can navigate tight spaces and uneven terrain. 

The track length on the ground is 4.03 metres, with 600mm track pads providing stability and traction, even on soft or uneven surfaces.

With a spare spool for attachments, this machine can be equipped with hydraulic breakers, grapples, or augers, making it a multi-tasker. 

With a top speed of 5.4 km/h and a gradeability of 35%, the E300LC-II is built to handle tough terrains and steep inclines. 

Its robust undercarriage and durable components ensure that it can withstand the rigours of daily use, while its efficient design minimises downtime and maintenance costs.
