The WA700-8 delivers upgrades over its predecessor, including an 8% increase in gross power and turns up 15% in torque.

These enhancements translate to improved digging performance, making it easier to handle tough applications.

The machine also boasts a 6% increase in lifting force and rated load, enabling operators to move larger volumes of material.

Its robust build is designed to withstand the rigors of heavy-duty applications, while its breakout force ensures reliable performance in challenging digging environments.

Common components shared with larger Komatsu loaders improve overhaul intervals, minimising downtime and maintenance costs.

The Advanced Joystick Steering System integrates precise steering controls with force feedback, matching the machine’s movements to the joystick’s angle.

Additional features, such as integrated F-N-R switches, upshift and downshift buttons, and ergonomic control layouts, enhance operator efficiency and reduce fatigue during long shifts.

Semi-automated features like automatic dig, semi-auto approach, and semi-auto dump systems simplify repetitive tasks, making the WA700-8 an excellent choice for operators of all skill levels.

For rough or slippery terrains, the WA700-8’s variable traction control system adjusts rimpull from 20% to 100%, optimising tyre grip and reducing wear.

This capability enhances safety and productivity while prolonging tyre life, making it another valuable feature for challenging environments.

The WA700-8 is equipped with a throttle lock system that sets a constant engine RPM for quick cycle times while conserving fuel.

An auto-deceleration feature reduces engine RPM after periods of inactivity, further improving fuel economy.

The machine’s modulation clutch system ensures smooth acceleration and controlled directional changes, enhancing efficiency in V-cycle loading operations.

The electronically-controlled suspension system absorbs shocks and reduces boom bounce, minimising material spillage and providing a smoother ride.

This feature not only enhances operator comfort but also contributes to greater operational efficiency by ensuring consistent performance on uneven terrain.

Centralised maintenance points make routine servicing quick and efficient.

Ground-level access to critical components, such as fluid refill ports and sampling points, reduces downtime and streamlines preventative maintenance tasks, allowing the WA700-8 to spend more time in productive operation.
