PS Plant Specs Online has added full specifications for Vögele’s new Dash-5 pavers.

The brand boasts that the machines feature advanced technologies that prioritise user convenience, safety, and automation.

The new Super 1900-5 and Super 2100-5 models have innovations designed to streamline operations, boost productivity, and meet modern road construction demands.

The Dash-5 generation pavers come with the new Paver Access Control system, designed to improve safety and efficiency on job sites.

This system allows operators to perform essential setup tasks such as starting the diesel engine, switching on lights, raising the hardtop, and lowering the screed from ground level.

Vögele says it has intensified automation with the Dash-5 series, integrating advanced assistance and control systems that enhance paving quality and efficiency.

The AutoSet Plus feature simplifies handling by allowing operators to preset paving parameters and monitor progress.

Additionally, two new functions of the Niveltronic Plus system improve accuracy in controlling screed width and managing cross-sectional profiles.

With sonic sensors detecting physical references, operators can now automate screed width adjustments based on 3D data, ensuring precise paving operations.

In response to rising raw material costs, the Dash-5 pavers have been designed with a focus on reducing setup times, improving logistics, and increasing machine availability.

Optimised material handling ensures a consistent head of mix in front of the screed, preventing load peaks and improving efficiency, particularly on large paving jobs.

The optional Power Tunnel enhances material flow, even with extended screeds, by automatically adjusting with the screed width to maintain optimal material levels, saving both time and money.

Both the Super 1900-5 and Super 2100-5 are equipped with powerful six-cylinder John Deere diesel engines.

The Super 1900-5 delivers 149 kW at 2,000 rpm, while the Super 2100-5 generates 187 kW at the same speed.

These pavers also feature Vögele’s optimised EcoPlus low-emissions package, reducing fuel consumption and noise levels through ECO mode and other energy-saving technologies.

The Dual Power Shift function allows hydraulic tamper stroke adjustments at the touch of a button, eliminating the need for mechanical adjustments and optimising paving processes.

Additionally, design improvements have reduced noise and vibration, enhancing operator comfort.
