Case Construction Equipment’s recently introduced  CX17D mini excavator is  a 1.75-ton, zero-tail swing model designed for high-traffic urban and infrastructure sites.

With options for both cab and canopy versions, the CX17D offers compact power with a digging depth up to 2,200 mm, making it an ideal choice for versatile operations in confined spaces or sites with multiple types of equipment.

The zero-tail swing design of the CX17D ensures maneuverability, allowing operators to work efficiently in confined areas. 

The model is equipped with hydraulic flow settings and up to three auxiliary circuits that can be used with various quick couplers and attachments, adding versatility to its applications. 

From digging to trenching, as well as utility work, the CX17D adapts to a range of tasks, increasing productivity on busy job sites.

For fleet management, the CX17D can be equipped with Case SiteWatch, allowing operators and managers to monitor machine performance in real time. 

The machine is also compatible with bio-hydraulic oils and lubricants to meet increasingly stringent environmental regulations, supporting sustainable operations in urban areas.

Equipped with an automatic courtesy light, rearview mirrors, a windshield washer, and battery disconnect switch, the CX17D is designed to maximise convenience for operators. 

The mini excavator also has a pedal-controlled 1st auxiliary circuit, with a mechanical diverter allowing operators to toggle between single and double effects. 

A two-speed travel system with automatic shift-down and shift-up functions adjusts for traction, allowing smooth operation even on challenging terrain.

The CX17D is built with rubber tracks, a standard dozer blade, and an extendable undercarriage for stability and flexibility. 

Standard features, including a boom lift cylinder and dozer blade cylinder protection, contribute to durability in tough job conditions, reducing maintenance requirements. 

An ignition key that opens every lock on the machine and standard LED working lights improve security and functionality on-site.
