New Holland Construction (NHC) has announced the expansion of its compact wheel loader (CWL) lineup in the North American market with the introduction of three new C series models for 2024: the W60C, W70C, and W80C LR.
The maker says they are designed to enhance productivity, efficiency, and operator comfort, addressing market demands for advanced features.
Dan Kakareka, Product Manager for NHC North America said, “The development of these advanced CWL models was driven by our goal to enhance the operator and owner experience and the need to put more options with more versatility in their hands.’
“What’s also evident … is how they provide exceptional stability, enabling operators to handle larger loads with ease, manoeuvre confidently in challenging conditions, and enjoy smoother travel, even on rough terrain.”
The W60C shares its frame with the W50C but offers increased horsepower and an upgraded Z-Bar boom design, making it suited for landscaping and material handling.
With greater horsepower, speed, and performance, and a lighter operating weight, the W70C is suited for light construction, landscaping, contracting, and municipal applications.
Designed for the agricultural market, the W80C LR has an operating weight of 5,897kg and a lift capacity of 4,808kg, making it ideal for tasks such as bale stacking and loading feed into ration mixers.
Each new compact wheel loader model is powered by a Tier 4 Final-compliant 4-cylinder, 3.4-liter FPT Industrial F5H engine.
The updated cabs are ROPS- and FOPS-certified, featuring advanced climate control and full sealing and pressurisation to keep out dust and noise.
Technological enhancements include automated boom control, creep mode, cruise control, auto ride control, and FleetForce Telematics for improved efficiency and performance tracking, aiding better fleet management.
These new models are compatible with over 250 attachments, including buckets, brooms, snow blowers, bale grabbers, and skidsteers, ensuring maximum versatility.
High-flow attachments are also available for the W70C and the W80C LR.
Additionally, the redesigned Z-Bar Monolift cylinder improves visibility, breakout force, and digging and lifting power.
