Epiroc’s DP 1820PB specs posted, with its concrete crusher siblings

PS Plant Specs Online has added the specs for Epiroc’s new DP 1820, which it says is designed for both primary demolition and secondary reduction of non-reinforced and reinforced concrete structures.

Built with a straight design and advanced features, the DP 1820 delivers precision, power, and efficiency making it a top choice for demanding demolition tasks.

The concrete pulveriser is equipped with a 360° endless hydraulic rotation, allowing for optimal positioning and precise handling.

It also features replaceable and reversible cutting blades, and a wear plate fixing system for easy on-site maintenance. With its robust design, the DP 1820 doesn’t require cylinder rod protection, further enhancing its durability on tough job sites.

Epiroc has also introduced its optional Performance Booster, which enhances the DP 1820‘s performance up to a claimed 20%.

This innovative feature reduces jaw cycle time by up to 25%, allowing operators to complete tasks more quickly and efficiently.

Additionally, the Performance Booster provides up to a 35% reduction in fuel consumption, making it an environmentally friendly and cost-effective solution for demolition projects.

Notably, the booster can be retrofitted onto existing Epiroc pulverisers, giving operators the flexibility to upgrade their equipment without needing to purchase new attachments.
