Develon has launched its first compact track loader, the DTL35 in North America.
It says the machine is purpose designed for tasks such as pushing, lifting, digging, and land clearing.
Initially introduced as a prototype at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2023, the DTL35 is based on feedback from dealers and contractors, resulting in a machine that is focused on productivity and efficiency.
With a 115.3 hp engine, the DTL35 offers good traction and maneuverability on construction sites and in tight spaces.
Dylan Freeman, Develon’s product manager for compact track loaders, said, “The new DTL35 is our first compact track loader and features technologies that deliver excellent performance, visibility, and high-end comfort. We’re excited to expand our compact equipment line, providing our customers with more options to meet their work demands.”
The DTL35 is powered by the D34 engine, which is also used in Develon’s DD100 dozer.
This engine minimises downtime, reduces maintenance costs and ensures consistent performance under demanding conditions, according to the maker.
The compact track loader offers two rubber track patterns: a standard wide multi-bar track for increased surface contact and stability, and an optional block pattern for enhanced durability on rough terrains like rock and gravel.
Ride control on the DTL35 reduces shocks and vibrations, enhancing stability and minimising spillage during operations on rough terrain.
Its ‘return-to-dig’ feature saves time by automatically returning the arms to the lowered position, ensuring a consistent digging depth.
Additionally, the standard two-speed travel feature allows the loader to operate at optimal speeds for different tasks, whether traveling longer distances or performing precise movements in challenging conditions.
The DTL35 includes a reversible fan to protect the engine from dust and debris, extending the machine’s life.
A rearview camera provides an additional view for operators, enhancing safety.
An optional around view monitor (AVM) camera system with ultrasonic proximity sensors offers a 270-degree view, boosting operator confidence and safety in tight or busy job sites.
The vertical lift arm configuration of the DTL35 allows for extended reach, making it easier to load materials into high-sided trucks and bins.
The self-leveling feature ensures stability by automatically adjusting the attachment as the arms are raised or lowered. The bucket shake feature aids in quickly and efficiently dumping materials without manual intervention.
Inside the DTL35, operators will find a metre-wide interior with a large polycarbonate swing-out door, electric over hydraulic controls, and a roof panel offering an unobstructed overhead view.
The adjustable air-suspension heated seat provides comfort, adapting to the operator’s weight and movements to absorb shocks and vibrations.
The torsion suspension system further enhances the ride quality, making it smoother compared to traditional fixed-frame machines.
