Check the specs for Hitachi’s mini digger upgraded to do the heavy lifting

PS Plant Specs Online has uploaded the full specifications for one of Hitachi’s latest mini excavators, the ZX75US-7.

The manufacturer boasts that it brings increased productivity, enhanced operator comfort, robust safety features, and streamlined maintenance to the compact equipment market.

Hitachi says the ZX75US-7 has been engineered for high productivity and is equipped with a turbocharged, 50.4 kW engine that meets EPA Final Tier 4 and EU Stage V emissions standards.

The engine’s enhanced power output increases digging force by 4%, resulting in a 6% boost in productivity over previous models.

The floor of the upper structure has been lowered by 140 mm, improving stability by 10%, which allows for a secure, steady feel when using heavy attachments.

The model comes with auxiliary function capabilities, enabling a seamless experience when operating multiple attachments.

The auxiliary flow adjustment feature allows operators to customise the flow rate within a range of 20 to 136 L/min in increments of 10 L/min, making it easy to optimise attachment performance directly from the monitor.

Hitachi has expanded and upgraded the cab interior to provide a more spacious working environment including a more comfortable seat, ergonomic controls, and an Auxiliary Function Lever with easy-to-use electric switches on both the left and right operation levers.

Safety is a priority in the ZX75US-7 with features designed to improve visibility and provide real-time awareness of the surroundings.

Hitachi’s Aerial Angle camera system, combined with a new LCD monitor, delivers a comprehensive view of the job site, minimising blind spots and enhancing operator confidence.

This setup helps operators navigate busy worksites with greater situational awareness, reducing potential risks.

Maintenance on the ZX75US-7 has been made easier with redesigned access to key components.

The machine features resin fuel tanks and reinforced D-frames, which improve durability while simplifying regular upkeep. Fuse boxes, filters, and other maintenance points are strategically positioned to facilitate daily inspections, reducing downtime and keeping the machines ready for work.
