Bomag landfill compactor has 3 engine options – all specs available to subscribers

PS Plant Specs Australia has uploaded the specs for Bomag’s BC773RB-5, a landfill compactor that combines powerful performance with advanced features which the manufacturer says provides superior traction, compaction, and operational efficiency.

Designed specifically for landfill applications, the BC773RB-5 boasts an innovative wheel design that delivers exceptional traction and compaction over extended periods of use.

One of the features of the BC773RB-5 is its optimised operating concept, allowing operators to set different working speeds for forward and reverse travel via cruise control, rather than relying on engine revolutions.

This system enables precise and efficient operation tailored to the task at hand.

The blade height can be finely adjusted to meet landfill requirements with Bomag’s Autoblade and Blade Stepper functions.

Frequently used blade positions can also be saved and quickly recalled, streamlining workflow.

The compactor’s oscillating and articulating joint ensures that all four wheels remain in contact with the ground, guaranteeing consistent traction and compaction in all conditions.

Scraper bars located in front of and behind each wheel help keep them clean, further enhancing efficiency.

Maintenance has been made simple with large doors and platforms on both sides of the machine, allowing easy access for servicing.

The high intake for cooling and combustion air, along with a reversible airflow system, minimizes the need for frequent cleaning, ensuring the machine remains operational for longer periods between maintenance.
