PS Plant Specs Australia Online has just added the full specifications for Wacker Neuson’s newly-introduced RR series multi-tyred rollers. Both the RR180 and RR280 come in T3 or T4 engine options.
The manufacturer says the series has been designed with a focus on safety, operator comfort and adaptability.
The driver can easily and safely climb aboard from either side of all models, thanks to a wide accessway with large steps.
At the core of the RR series is the innovative seat-operating unit with an integrated steering column, providing maximum freedom of movement and flexibility.
The driver’s seat – which is spring-mounted – and the armrests can be adjusted for optimal comfort.
Additionally, the dashboard tilt and steering wheel position can be customised to suit individual preferences, allowing every driver to quickly find a comfortable, ergonomically advantageous working position.
The seat-operating unit can rotate 90° in either direction, lock in place, and move to the outer edge of the platform for the best view of the sides and the area behind the roller, including an optimal view of the outer wheels.
The workspace also features convenient 12V sockets, ample storage space and multiple fresh- air nozzles as part of the standard specifications.
To ensure the RR series rollers can be quickly outfitted with the perfect weight for each task, Wacker Neuson has developed an intelligent ballasting concept.
This allows for easy modification to different operating weights either in the workshop or directly on the construction site.
The rollers feature large ballast spaces between the wheel sets and an open-bottom compartment frame with inserts.
Loading and unloading requires minimal effort – prefabricated steel, magnetite or concrete ballast bodies can be inserted and removed using a forklift.
Wacker Neuson offers a range of ballast body kits in various sizes to achieve different weights.
Additionally, an optional water tank with a 1,500-liter capacity can be used as a water reservoir or for extra weight.
This unit connects to the standard water tank via interconnecting pipework and is also available with a C-pipe connection for fast filling.
These machines are distributed by Conplant in Australia.
